Four cases, one pattern: complex flows made to hold up in production.
Let's talk about yours ↗My design-system docs double as AI context. A component spec carrying patterns and anti-patterns is what lets a generator emit a real Button instead of an invented div.
What I do
Product Discovery
50+ user interviews, opportunity framing, hypothesis-to-metric mapping. I run discovery so the next sprint starts from a problem merchants described in those interviews.
Design Systems
Token-based systems with Token Studio and GitHub sync. Built to scale across products, themes, and platforms — with 92–96% of production colours on tokens in the flagship banking product.
Transactional UX
Payment flows, onboarding, and merchant tooling designed for conversion. KYB, KYC, settlement, dispute resolution, payouts — every micro-interaction earns its place in a regulated context where one wrong tap costs a transaction.
How I Build
AI is part of how I ship, not a slide in my deck. I write vibe-coded prototypes — and this site, shader included — in Claude Code, then read every line before it goes anywhere near production.

“Working with Nikita on a redesign of a mobile banking application was both rewarding and insightful. [...] He is attentive to feedback, eager to learn from his mistakes, and demonstrates a strong grasp of the team's objectives.”
“I was particularly impressed by Nikita's ability to adapt to the complex requirements of the project. In a fast-paced project environment with constantly changing requirements, he demonstrated an outstanding ability to analyze and deliver quality design solutions.”
“During our collaboration on the HomeTrends Project, I had the opportunity to witness his creativity, analytical thinking, and ability to quickly grasp new concepts. Nikita's designs are not only visually stunning, but also thoughtfully crafted [...]”
Lead Product Designer based in Bangkok
I design fintech and commerce products — payments, merchant platforms, AI-driven discovery. Kazakhstan's first interbank Unified QR system, and a 0→1 discovery product for the German market, now live.
My card says Senior; my scope is Lead. Research, framing, systems, the shipped product, and the people around it. Every decision sits next to a hypothesis, because a hypothesis is what survives a room full of risk, legal, and engineering.
Open to Lead, Staff-track, and Senior IC roles. Global remote from Bangkok, EU morning overlap daily, no relocation.
Let's talkI Rebuilt My Portfolio with Claude Code
Framer traded for hand-written HTML, CSS and vanilla JS, including the shader in the header above. Zero frameworks, two dependencies.
Generalist vs Specialist Is the Wrong Debate
The fork that matters is IC depth versus a leadership track. One of them has a ceiling stapled to the title.
What They Actually Hire For
I read 21 Senior PD job descriptions and counted what repeats. The requirements list is not the same thing as the screening criteria.
Merchants Trust Their Workaround, Not Your Flow
A café owner logged every QR transaction by hand next to a working confirmation screen. That's not a UX failure — it's a trust failure.
